5-AXIS LASER PRECESSION SCANNER


Aerotech presents the AGV5D, an innovative 5-axis laser precession scanner specially developed for laser micromachining. MKS announces the Ophir® Helios Pro industrial power meter for optimising Li-ion battery welding and other high power laser production applications. On 2 October 2024, AILU hosted a webinar on Net Zero, led by Nigel Addison-Evans from Control Energy Costs and David James from Auditel, aimed at providing businesses with practical insights on sustainability and carbon footprint management. The interactive session engaged attendees via Slido and covered key topics such as understanding greenhouse gases and the concept of Net Zero, including the seven gases contributing to climate change. Nigel and David explained the term ‘carbon neutrality’ and offsetting emissions through renewable energy and carbon offset projects.
