TRUMPF has expanded its aluminium portfolio for additive manufacturing, to include alloys that are suitable for the automotive, motorsports, aerospace and bicycle industries. The new aluminium alloys can be used in numerous 3D printing applications, from prototyping to series production.

MKS Instruments has announced the Ophir® 20K-W High Power Laser Sensor, a compact sensor for measuring very high power lasers. This water-cooled thermal sensor measures powers from 100 W to 20 kW over the spectral range of 800-2000 nm and 10.6 µm.
