Appointment heralds a new era at club
MK Dons are excited to begin a new chapter with the appointment of Neil Hart as Chief Executive Offi cer. Neil joins from Bolton Wanderers, the club he led through a
period of signifi cant growth, increasing season ticket sales, securing record-breaking sponsorship deals, and strengthening ties with the Supporters’ Trust. His eff orts were recognised with the League One CEO of the Year 2023 award at the Football Business Awards. Before his time at Bolton, Neil spent nearly a decade at Burnley
in the Premier League, where he played a key role in both football and community development. His leadership of Burnley FC in the Community earned recognition for delivering award-winning sports and education programmes and building community centres across Lancashire. Neil is eager to bring his expertise to MK Dons. He said: “I’m
absolutely delighted to be taking on this role at such an exciting time for the football club. T e potential for the club, with its phenomenal infrastructure, is there for all to see. I can’t wait to get started and am sincerely looking forward to meeting staff and supporters over the coming weeks.” Chairman Fahad Al Ghanim added: “Neil’s record in football
speaks for itself. He is undoubtedly a top-level CEO with a wealth of fantastic experience across both the EFL and the Premier League. I’m confi dent Neil is the person we need to bring everyone at the club together as we enter this new era.”
Armed Forces Day MK Dons are proud to once again host Armed Forces Day at Stadium MK on Saturday, November 9, when they take on Swindon Town. T e day will feature a pre-match ceremony, a half-time parade, and armed forces-themed activities to honour the brave men and women who serve in the military. T is annual event is a special opportunity for the club and its
supporters to show gratitude to the armed forces community. We encourage everyone to join us for what promises to be a memorable day at Stadium MK. Before that, October brings four exciting home fi xtures. First,
MK Dons face Tranmere Rovers on October 5 in a crucial league match, followed by a Bristol Street Motors Trophy tie against Arsenal U21 on October 8. On October 12, they welcome Port Vale in what promises to be a challenging encounter, before rounding off the month against Accrington Stanley on October 22, a game that could be pivotal over the course of the season. With so much happening on and off the pitch, October is set to be a huge month for the club, make sure you’re a part of it.
