ON LOCATION CHAMPIONING WHAT MATTERS Change Can’t Wait

The Campaign for American University

On June 30, 2024, American University completed the $500 million fundraising campaign, Change Can’t Wait. Through the generosity of supporters, AUWCL successfully raised more than $31 million — exceeding its goals by more than $10 million — in support of student scholarships, advancing legal research, and building stronger communities.

In March, American University returned to New York to celebrate our community of changemakers. Guests experienced Change Can’t Wait: The Campaign for American University—our ambitious effort to take on society’s most complex challenges. Distinguished guest speakers included N. Jeremi Duru (pictured below), professor and director of the AUWCL Sport and Society Initiative.

In January, American University returned to Los Angeles to host an evening of connection and conversation with our community of changemakers to experience the progress and impact of Change Can’t Wait: The Campaign for American University. John Nadolenco ’95 (pictured bottom right), chair of the AUWCL Tech, Law, and Security Program Advisory Board, closed out the program with an address to the audience.
