EXPERIENCES


With the help of Dale Dupree and Chris Watson, Chief Executive Storyteller at Craft & Compel, attendees underwent three distinctive experiences geared toward helping them build connections with each other and their own communities, companies, and legacies.


Capacity Leading from maximum capacity is dangerous. If you’re at maximum capacity, you’re not giving your best to your team members, and your company and legacy suffers.


Attendees filled out a survey to find out their leadership style, broken into four categories: heart, hammer, light bulb, or rubix cube. Then, they played with hypothetical situations and reached a better understanding of their leadership capacity in order to lead more efficiently.


Connection


The infamous Lego experience. Even adults can play and learn from Lego, right? Leaders need to build connections with those they try to lead. Without a connection, there’s no progress.


Clarity


This experience showed attendees that connection is about much more than finding synergy with a strategic partner. When we intentionally create connections with others, we are able to build a stronger culture than if we try to build it on our own.


Leaders need to be clear with their vision. Without a clear path, a whole organization can be led astray. But with a defined vision of where everyone’s headed, a leader can much more easily get to their objective and achieve their goals. Attendees walked away from this experience understanding the impact that clarity could have on their organization.
