A gliding club chairman has praised emergency services fortheir swift actionafter anaircraftnosedivedtothe ground leaving two casualties trapped in the wreckage.


Two air ambulances were mobilised to the incident at Chipping when the crash hap­ pened, leaving the instruc­ tor and his female passenger trapped in the stricken glider’s wrecked cockpit. They were released by
