Now the weather’s becoming a bit warmer, how about hit­ ting the water - Chatfaurn Water to be precise? That’s the home of Clitheroe Canoe Club and it's just at the far end of the village past the allotments and on the A59 slip road. The club is open to people of all ages and abilities. It meets on Saturdays from noonto 1-30 pm for canoeing and from 2 to 3-30 pm for kayaking. You don’t need your own equip­ ment as there’s plenty to borrow. A session costs £5 for members and £10 for non members with membership priced at £20 annually.
