Village Hall Committee would donate towards the purchase of flags and bunting for the event. Five boards have been
replaced in the playground fence and arrangements will be made to have the trees cut back.

Atkinson Trophy competition
will take place this weekend at Sabden Bowling Club to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Care in memory of villager Marjorie. Games begin at 9-30 am on Saturday and the final rounds will start at 1 pm on

West Bradford Village Hall for
. the third annual Pendle Witch Tractor Road Run. They trav elled 43 miles passing through Newton, Slaidburri, Green Smithy Bentham, Keasden, Stocks Reservoir and Grindle- ton before returning to the village hall for a well deserved lunch. Driver Robert Powl, of Tos-
