Bowland Brewery, co-sponsors of this weekend’s Clitheroe Food Festival, will unveil its new branding at the event on Saturday. Earlier this week the brewer, located at the Holmes Mill development, saw delivery of it’s first bottling run bearing the newly branded labels for its award-winning Hen Harrier ale, and Pheasant Plucker.

The artwork was commissioned from Claire Brownlow whose style immediately caught the eye

. of brewery owners James and Andrew Warburton. The unique artwork painted with pheasant feathers is characterised by splatters created when the point of the quill catches the grain of the water colour paper, meaning no two pictures are ever the same. .

Eventually the artwork will take pride of place in the Beer Hall, following it’s completion in the next 12-18 months, but for now it will be rolled out to all the ' company’s products which include hand-crafted cask ales for the bar, beer for ' the bottle and a 5 litre mini cask, for when you’ve a party in mind!

.

. The Bowland Brewery bar, brandishing it’s new livery, is to be located at the top of the Bull Ring for the duration of the Food Festival, the Bowland Beer Bus is sited on.King Street outside Anderton’s Butchers and a three bottle gift packs will also be available -perfect as a treat for yourself or B B Q host gift.- ■ Y,
