the Sport Relief Mile, which was coordinated by Ribble Valley Borough Council, at Clitheroe Castle. A warm up session was


held at Clitheroe Castle’s band stand before Ribble Valley Mayor Coun. Richard Sher- ras and his consort Mrs Lynne Pate gave the instruction for participants to set off. Ribble Valley residents had

Clitheroe’s Sainsbury’s super­ market for helping register participants on the day and take donations! Mr Fletcher also thanked the local police cadets who had volunteered to be marshalls for the event. Sport Relief has raised


more than £i95m. since being launched in 2002 to help peo­ ple living tough lives in the UK arid across the world.
