If you’re the kind ofpersonwholikes to guess at the year when listening to songs on the radio, there is an event


tomorrow night you should enjoy. Entitled “Gospel to Gershwin”, it is a musical journey


• across the continents spanning 150 years, with many of the songsand pieces performed tied in to key historical events shown on an interactive big screen. Performing in the show are Eric Ainsworth, the Pendle


Jazzmen (pictured), the Three Valleys Gospel Choir and narrator Chris Bowers.


The event takes place at Christ Church, Chatburn, at 7-30 pm and is part of the Ribble Valley Summer Proms series. Tickets cost £8, which includes light refreshments, and
