Media Sales Consultant (based in Clitheroe)


We are looking to recruit a Media Sales Consultant for our successful East Lancashire Advertising sales team.


It’s essential that you love selling, enjoy closing deals and the thrill of sourcing and signing up new business. You will be dealing with both existing and new customers in and around the Clitheroe and Ribble Valley marketplace across a wide range of businesses and organisations - from local shops and businesses to key local organisations. You will work on a defined geographical territory and be responsible for increasing market share on this territory through the effective face to face selling of our multi media product portfolio. The main purpose of this role is to gain new business with an additional responsibility to service and grow an existing customer base. You II be a highly creative individual - we love people with great ideas (and so do our customers!). You’ll be actively encouraged to use these ideas to both grow your customer base and introduce new platforms into our titles.

Our Motors team are enjoying some real success and is looking to recruit two additional Media Sales Consultant’s. We pride ourselves on excellent customer service and are looking to recruit experienced salespeople (you’ll ideally have experience of the Motors trade) to maintain and effectively service our existing customer base, to identify new customers and grow additional advertising revenue opportunities. A real team player, you’ll be working as part of a close knit team that operates throughout our NW markets. You’ll be working to a defined geographical territory servicing existing customers and importantly building your customer base. We have just entered into an exciting new online partnership with a major national provider, motors.co.uk. You’ll therefore need to show that you are digital savvy and fully


able to present our award winning online portfolio alongside our market leading print publications. All of the above roles include the provision of a fully expensed company vehicle.
