HAPPY New Year to eveiyone back home. I hope you all had a great New Year's Eve - 1 certainly did. I have spent Christmas and New
Year in Florida, staying at Jon's grandparents' house with him and his sister. We are staying just outside West

had already sent over my Christmas present, but apparently Father Christmas had something up his sleeve when I woke to find a present under the tree addressed to myself. Turns out that Jon's grandparents bought me a smart little jacket. For the rest of the day Jon and I went
down
to.the beach complete with Christmas hats where I once again burnt myself. Boxing Day was very much the same as back home, as I turned on the television and watched the multiple football games that were being shown, whilst following the Rovers score online. As a little day trip, Jon and I went
down to South Beach in Miami to meet up with two Brazilian exchange students from CCSU who were spending their Christmas there. South Beach is absolutely stunning.

surrounding the area we decided to have an afternoon trying our hand at it. Jon's grandma is a keen fisher, but
