www.lancashirejobstoclav.co. u k wantto e^lafeiyf|iHa Uzmah Arif What qualifications do you need?
You do not actually need any formal qualifications. I've done my A levels and my degree but you do not actually need all that.
Any other requirements for example health and fitness or age?
Not really, you can be any age. With health, you do go up and down ladders when you are fitting smoke alarms so you have to be in reasonably good health but they don't discriminate if you have got a health condition.
How long does it take to qualify for the role?
You go on a course which lasts a week. After that, you are out and about with colleagues who are already in the role. You shadow them and you are phased into it.

What kind of job satisfaction can you expect from a career? When you have gone to a home and given some fire safety advice, knowing that the advice may one day save someone's life, it's good knowing that.
