Police put over message to nursery children

YOU’RE never too young to

learn that the police are here tohelp.

. That was the message when IBB

two Police Community Sup port Officers, Dawn Roberts and Claire Moore, visited Rossendale Nursery and Baby Unit,York Street, Clitheroe. Their visit was organised as part of a children’s topic on

“People Who Help Us”. The Community Support

Officers talked to them about “stranger danger” and road

safety and left reflective hedgehog badges to attach to the children’s bags and posters of-police helicopters and police cars to colour in. Our picture shows the nurs

ery children learning about how the police can help, (s)
