Dolphins ce leb ra te prestigious ‘C h a r te r ’ award
CLITHEROE Dolphins can reflect on a season of achievement. The senior team were
crowned champions of the North Lancashire League Second Division earlier in the year, and the club was awarded the prestigious Swim.21 Charter mark from the Amateur Swim ming Association. In recognition of these
successes, the Dolphins have also been awarded the title of Ribble Valley Sports Club of the Year. The club are now train
ing through the summer in preparation for the
Speedo League and North Lancashire Champi onships in the autumn. Anyone interested in join

their season with two North West Micro League fixtures sandwiching a visit to Harrogate for a graded meet. The first Micro League

In the 10 years section,
Bethany Jones won the 50m breaststroke, and
Elizabeth Lovatt won the 12 years’ 50m butterfly. Also in the 12 years’
events, Luke Tasker won the 50m butterfly, and Thomas Carter (50m Freestyle and 50m back- stroke) and Anna Carey (50m breaststroke) also touched home first. On the same weekend,
