LOCALLY-born poet Cathy Grindrod will read her work and lead a workshop for writers on Saturday, October 7th, at the Pendle Club, in Lowergate from 1- 30 to 4-30 p.m. Cathy is currently the Derbyshire


Poet Laureate and has worked in litera­ ture development for Nottingham City


and the British Council. As an experi­ enced project co-ordinator, she has led a wide variety of poetry projects and fes­ tivals and has also been editor of Poetry International and had five collections of her poetry published.
