activities to keep younger members of the family amused, with colour and mask making for children, a display of sheep decorated by local junior schools at the Castle gate, a sheep trail and a competi tion to find BoPeep’s lost sheep. Meanwhile tomorrow marks the start of
the ninth annual Great Days Festival, with musicians from all over the world thronging Clitheroe. The Friday night opening concert at St
Mary's Centre (the parish hall) features top cult country music figure Hank Wang- ford and the Lost Cowboys, supported by Dog House Skiffle and the Valley's very own Swing Commanders, with Clitheroe violinist Gaynor Sutcliffe. On Saturday there will be lots of enter
tainment in town, with Castle Street closed to traffic from lunchtime. The Old Rope String Band will be one of the acts
