REPRESENTATIONS about the proposals should be submitted before 19 July 2003. Send representations to the Boundary Commission for England, PO Box 31060, London, SW1V 2FF, or fax them to 020 7533 5176, or email them to alan.bannistcr@ons.gov.uk

Objectors are advised to submit a counter-proposal with their representation, as this is likely to cany more weight than a simple statement

of objection. It is very important that all representations, whether of support or objection (particularly counter-proposals) are received within the time allowed.

The Commission wish to stress that their provisional recommendations relate solely to parliamentary constituencies. They do not affect county, district or parish boundaries, local taxes, the administration of local services, or result in changes to post codes. Nor is there any evidence that the provisional

recommendations have adverse effects on house prices or car and house insurance premiums. The Commission will not, therefore, be able to take account of any representation which is based on these issues.
