Most will associate the Match moniker with Mk2 Golfs. These offered high levels of specification for not much more than the basic model. The current Match continues that iheme with greater variety available to


. buyers. The Match range is reduced until the 30th of September, with up to £1,000 off. Within the range there are four models to choose from:


1 A ' , 1.6, 1.6 Automatic and 1.9 TDi. As the Match bows in, the S trim level checks out and although model for model you'll end up paying an additional £215 for the Match. However, the level of additional equipment more than merits the extra outlay. With £1,500 worth of extras on this model. The fifteen inch Avus II alloy wheels would be enough to make the Match worthwhile, but it also weighs in with an upgraded CD-based stereo,.remote central locking,

Certainly Tammy Hartley and James Waddington of Brierfield thought the Golf Match was extremely good value, so much so, that the couple recently purchased one from lookers Volkswagen.
