Summer school packed with action

AN action-packed two weeks has ended at the chil dren's summer holi day club, "Ground- breakers". Based in St

James' Church, Clitheroe, the build ing has been a-buzz with young voices. The club has been

based around a pre tend building site, with games, crazy competitions, drama, arts and crafts, chil dren's praise, Bible characters, sports day, treasure hunt, a day trip to the Muse um of Photography, Film and Television and much more. Girl band Flame

visited for the second week to perform, pro vide dance and vocal workshops and share their Christian faith with the children. Pictured are club

members with St James' Church helpers.

Most of the steel girders holding the roadway were damaged beyond repair in the acci dent and the debris is to be removed on the week end of September 8th- 9th.
