PROPERTY OF THE WEEK);
16 Abbot Walk, Highmoor Park, Clitheroe
Price: £189,000
OUR property of the week is an excellent family detached house enjoying a sought- after cul-de-sac location adjoining open fields with attractive views towards Pendle Hill at
the rear. Built to high standards in 1993 by Gleeson
Homes, the house has an almost cottage-style appearance which is superbly complemented by the well-stocked landscaped gardens. The accomodation comprises an entrance
hall, sitting room- study, louge with period style fireplace, dining rooms with patio doors to the conservatory, kitchen, utility room and two-piece cloakroom. An Amico floor runs from the hall through the kitchen to the util
ity room.
On the first floor there are four bedrooms, en-suite bathroom and three-piece house
, , ,
bathroom. The property also benefits from gas central
heating, sealed unit double glazing and the remainder of a 10-year NHBC guarantee. There is a summer house and greenhouse
and also a useful garden storage space to the right of the house as well as the driveway
parking. To arrange a viewing or for more iniorma- .

ure for the monthly change, which showed a fall of half a per cent compared to Sep tember. The first statistic shows
that since October, 2000,the property market has been extremely buoyant - prices

prices have fallen so little, in my view, is the amazingly low mortgage rate. Last time it was this low, the Beatles were yet to be a
things are at present I think the low interest rates will continue to give people the confidence they need to carry on with their house buying plans. I have noticed sales taking an upwards turn again in the last couple of weeks and there is no reason now why this should not continue into next year.
