The ballet, Hampson s fourth work for the , ,
company, is choreographed to F. Poulenc s Concerto for Two Pianos and Orchestra. The week is completed on November
22nd, 23rd and 24th by Michael Corders production of “Cinderella” , created in 1996, which won the 1996 Evening Standard award for outstanding production and the 1997 Laurence Olivier Award for best new
dance production. The original rags-to-riches fable is being
played out with the help of a full company of 64 dancers from 18 different countries and the 82-strong English National Ballet Orchestra under the baton of Anthony
Twiner.

tralian band who gave birth to the ABBA revival which spawned the hit movies "Muriel's Wedding", "Priscilla Queen of the Desert" and the new "Mamma Mia" is coming to King George’s Hall, Black burn, a week tomorrow. Performing all the
greatest ABBA hits as they are meant to be seen — in all their 70s glitz, with the costumes, the dance moves and the
banter. Top brass
MUSIC from top mod ern musicals will be in the repertoire of a cham pion band making a one- night foray into Lan
cashire. The Yorkshire Build
ing Society Brass Band will perform on Saturday at the Fleetwood Marine
Hall. The versatile 27-piece
band is now ranked first
in the world. Four times the band
has won the European championship.

that Mr Peter Cutchie, head of theatre and arts for Darlington
Borough Council, will replace Ms Stephanie Sirr as general

council member of the Theatre Managers' Association.
