A MAN has appeared in court after police inquiries into Land-


Rover thefts. Two vehicles were


stolen from locations in the Ribble Valley by Michael David Pollard (35), of Walkden, Man­ chester, it was alleged in court at Blackburn. One Land-Rover was


said to be worth £15,500


and the other £6,000. Pollard was also


charged with stealing some Land-Rover wheels and tyres worth £320 and a Land-Rover bonnet valued at £500. He was remanded on


bail until October 15th, on condition th a t he does not enter the Rib­ ble Valley.
