and vegetables such as cucumber, lemons, avocado and banana make effective natural cleansers, toners, mois- turers and face packs. So if you want to look and feel good this


month, take advice from FFVIB and follow their DIY tips to a beautiful new you.


GRAPE FACE MASK — mash seed­ less grapes and mix with honey (for dry skin) or whisked egg white (for oily skin). Apply to the skin and leave for 20 minutes.


JUICING — fruit and vegetable juices are a natural cleanser. Juice one orange, one lemon and mix with a glass of sparkling mineral water.


CUCUMBER CLEANSER — extract the juice from a quarter of a cucumber and blend with a


quarter of a pint of fresh milk or yoghurt. Use as normal cleanser. DRINK TO CLEANSE — a glass of hot water with lemon juice first thing in the morning will cleanse your system, flushing away toxins which could leave skin dull.


BANANA AND YOGHURT FACEMASK — * blend mashed banana with natural yoghurt and apply all over the face and neck. Leave for 20 minutes. VEG OUT — cram mealtimes with a selection of vegetables rich in dietary fibre such as beans, cabbage and parsnips to keep your skin fresh, clean and healthy from the inside.
