divers. Four qualified instructors
are on hand to take you
through the basics and take the uninitiated on an underwater tour. And y Sutcliffe began the

the workings o f the divers' jacket and a quick lesson on the do's and don't's, it

; s to descend to the depths o f the deep end, where the real diving takes place. • , Once there, I was showed how to inflate the jacket to
create b u oyan cy and weightlessness. It was a strange feeling.
M y ears were popping as though taking to the skies but above my head were the d a n g lin g legs o f
: snorkellers and swimmers. The Padiham-based club
currently number about 4 0 members, all o f various diving abilities.
