Grant cash runs out


AN increase in applica­ tions for cash donations to Clitheroe Town Council has forced it to close the door on further appeals. Town clerk Mr Leslie


Telford told members that the cur rent financial year’s estimates did not give the council sufficient leeway for more dona­

however, was for £25 to the Ribble Valley fund for the British Sports Associ­ ation for the Disabled. The council is still unde­ cided about an application from Clitheroe FC for cash to help with ground improvements. It is waiting to see
