The Dangerous Liaison

50ml Brockmans Gin 20ml lemon juice 10ml sugar syrup 2 blueberries

Combine in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake quite vigorously and fine

strain into an iced Champagne glass. Top with fine French Champagne.

Stir gently. Float two blueberries to symbolize our star-crossed lovers. Let a drop of grenadine float down amongst the bubbles to memorialize the passion that flowed from Juliette’s heart.

And enjoy with abandon and intent, Vive L’amour, darling

Defying the ire of kin and country, Lord Romy and Mademoiselle Juliette, succumbed to a night of forbidden passion.

As the sun rose, Juliette awash with bittersweet regret and aware that their love was destined to ruin, pierced her own heart with Lord Romy’s dagger. Upon discovering her fallen body, Lord Romy swiftly picked up the dagger and followed his darling Juliette into the next world.

The Dangerous Liaison is a cocktail inspired by their forsaken love… a properly improper “affaire du coeur” between the English and French.
