Hospitality’s future in focus at HRC 2022

Hotel, Restaurant & Catering (HRC) returns to ExCeL London on 21-23 March 2022 to reunite the foodservice and hospitality sector and set the stage for future industry growth after a challenging two years.

The show’s Vision Stage, designed by Harp Design and curated by EXP101, will be presenting a seminar programme firmly focussed on the most important trends and topics in the world of hospitality. From staffing shortages to design & branding to shifting kitchen cultures, this year’s seminar programme is an unmissable chance to hear from industry leaders and prepare for future trends and opportunities.

As always, HRC will have a heavy focus on showcasing quality chefs throughout the event. Historic chef competition International Salon Culinaire will be holding its 120th

edition at the event, with new categories including the Apprentice Challenge and Pub Chef of the Year. Meanwhile, The Staff Canteen Live will be returning to showcase 12 of the UK’s top chefs as they recreate some of their favourite dishes in front of a live audience.

This year’s event has partnered with Tried & Supplied to host the first live edition of the Better Hospitality Conference, focussing on sustainability in the sector, and with Hospitality Jobs UK for the return of the Hospitality’s Talent Conundrum conference, taking a close look at recruitment & retention, and resources available to employers in the industry.

HRC has also joined forces with The Pub Show for 2022, bringing popular feature The Tap Room to the event. Visitors will have the opportunity to sample a range of beers and fruit beers from breweries including Anspach &

Hobday, Big Smoke Brew Co, Brouwerij Haacht, Full Circle Bew Co, Old Street Brewery and Siren Craft Brew.

There will also be a range of suppliers focussed directly on the pub & bar sector, such as Flightcase Bars, who offer unique mobile draught systems built into rolling flightcases, draft beer quality consultants Avani Solutions and Digital Interlock Software, a company that has created innovative digital pump clips to remotely and digitally update a bar’s on-draft options.
