TOM BALL A SUPERSTAR IS BORN
95
Britain's Got Talent and America’s Got Talent superstar Tom Ball embarked on his debut tour just a few weeks ago in the ultimate what-dreams-are-made-of transformation from humble teacher to global performer. I was lucky enough to see Tom’s show at The Theatre Severn in Shrewsbury and was completely overwhelmed by his voice… it is undoubtedly one of the best voices I’ve heard in a very, very long time.
His eagerly awaited debut album ‘Curtain Call’ is also scheduled for release this spring and promises a fantastic mix of self-penned songs and classic covers, showcasing Tom’s powerful vocals. Westway Music are releasing the album and founder and MD, Neil O’Brien, had this to say: “Westway is the home of exceptional talent from the West End and Broadway and, having worked with the best of the best, we believe Tom is a world-class star with a passion for theatre and film and a huge potential to make a big impact in this world. As it was the first weekend of the Easter holidays, my 10-year- old little girl also came to see Tom (her first ever experience of going to a music show) and she was positively beaming afterwards, singing the lyrics to his new single all the way home. She even whispered to me mid-show ‘Mummy, I wish Tom was her teacher’. I replied, ‘he’s far from that sweetheart, he’s going to be a super-star’. After the show, Tom kindly spoke with me:
