Our ‘Style For' fashion editor, Julia Suzuki, has been working in the fashion world for over two decades. Julia travels the globe looking at the current style trends to bring us the very best designs from both high street and luxury, super brands.
To complement this month’s travel piece, our style editor Julia has picked out the hottest looks to hit the decks with this year (and possibly next if you like the looks of the latest cruise adventures for 2025). She says:
“Cruising is for everyone… What better way to show off your style… And the demographic of cruisers has changed hugely over the past few years. Cruising was always considered to be the domain of the over-fifties. That’s all changed and now there are cruises to many more destinations to suit everyone - families, adults-only and groups – with people aged 20-59 making up more than 50% of cruising travellers. You can even find themed cruises for those who like a flutter at the casino tables to those wanting to learn how to cook the world-class food cruise ships are famous for, as well as appreciating top-class shopping and, of course, destinations you might otherwise never see. Where formal dress was always the order of the day, that has changed too, from sexy sassy beachwear, to shorts and mini dresses. It’s much more anything goes, so long as it is luxurious.”
