Briget Jones is back! The much-anticipated fourth instalment of the hugely popular films based on Helen Fielding’s books is finally here. Directed by Michael Morris, ‘Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy’ stars the-one-and-only Renée Zellweger, of course, in her famous role. She is joined once again by Hugh Grant, Colin Firth and Emma Thompson, who reprise their roles as Daniel Cleaver, Mark Darcy and Doctor Rawlings, respectively, from previous instalments, Meanwhile joining the cast for this outing are Chiwetel Ejiofor, Leo Woodall, Isla Fisher, Josette Simon, Nico Parker and Leila Farzad.


In ‘Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy’, Bridget navigates life as a widow and single mom with the help of her family, friends - and former lover, Daniel. Back to work and on the apps, she’s pursued by a younger man and maybe - just maybe - her son’s science teacher.


Here, Renée talks about returning to play Bridget Jones, what she loves about her character and what audiences can expect from Bridget in this latest instalment. The Oscar-winning actress also opens up about why she took a break from acting, whether she has ever ‘faked it ‘till make it’ like her hapless character, her thoughts on online dating and more….
