Established in the UK since 1956, the company first began delivering servicing and maintenance for generators from its base in Yorkshire. It has grown year on year and is now one of the UK’s most trusted providers of services for generators and UPS (uninterruptible power supply) systems, delivering maintenance and repairs, manufacturing and installation and controls and automation.
Led by Group Managing Director Stephen Peal, YorPower has recently undergone a restructuring with all parts of the company now unified to deliver bespoke solutions for its customers, both nationally and worldwide; and its export business has moved to another level in 2023.
With dedicated YorPower dealers in multiple regions across the world, the company’s dealership programme is going from strength to strength. YorPower provides exclusive rights to dealers to sell its products overseas at great prices, as well as delivering ongoing support and expert knowledge.
Despite welcoming new partners onboard, the longest serving dealer is YorPower Kenya, which is managed in Nairobi by Operations Director, Mary Murimi. Following the internal changes an restructure at YorPower, Stephen Peal made to trip to the Kenyan capital to meet the team face to face.
