CREATING
CONNECTIONS FOR STUDENTS
AND ALUMNI Amy Kuboushek supports Palmer graduates as they become leaders.
IN HER FIRST FEW MONTHS as director of association and industry relations for the Palmer College of Chiropractic Advancement Office, Amy Kuboushek has made the most of opportunities to strengthen connections among students, alumni, chiropractic professional associations, and businesses in the chiropractic field. For Kuboushek, it’s about creating a network that benefits everyone involved. “Tis role is about building bridges,” says
Kuboushek. “State and other professional associations are a good source of connection and collaboration — they guide chiropractors through licensing requirements, setting up a practice, professional networking, and continuing education. I’m excited to help students connect with these associations early so they understand the full benefits before they are out on their own opening a practice or otherwise launching their career as a chiropractor.” Kuboushek brings a wealth of experience to this
position, having owned and managed a business for eight years. “I understand the business mindset of the folks running their own practices,” she explains. She knows how important it is to spend time and resources wisely and wants to help alumni see the value of staying connected to Palmer College and other chiropractic associations. In addition to building connections with
associations, Kuboushek fosters relationships with businesses in the field. “From clinic supplies to practice insurance and beyond, these businesses are ready to equip chiropractors with the tools for practice success,” she says. “We have a unique program — the Palmer Alumni
Program Partnership — that gives participating companies enhanced visibility within our vast network of students and alumni. Tis program offers companies the opportunities to engage with future and current Palmer-educated chiropractors,” Kuboushek says. Te Palmer Alumni Program Partnership also
lets students and alumni know which businesses give back through philanthropic support of Palmer College.
