Kevin Wong, D.C. (`96), attended Palmer College in San Jose and is

now a globally respected instructor. He teaches continuing education courses around the world, but some of his favorite opportunities to teach are the ones that bring him back to Palmer. “Teaching and speaking, they don’t even feel like work,” he laughs. “It’s fun because we’re talking about information we use every day and breaking it down in a way people can actually use to help patients.” Returning also keeps him connected to classmates, faculty, and fellow alumni while creating opportunities to mentor the next generation of chiropractors. “You can’t replace being face to face with an instructor,” he says. “Especially with technique, you need to be there. You need to watch someone. You need to ask questions.” That interaction is at the heart of the Palmer experience. The classroom becomes a place where decades of clinical expertise meet new questions and fresh perspectives. Experienced practitioners continue learning from one another, students engage directly with respected leaders, and the conversations that have shaped chiropractic for generations continue. Dr. Wong credits his ongoing relationship with Palmer for enriching his connection to the College even 30 years after graduation. “Palmer has embraced me,” he says. “It means a lot to me personally, and I try to repay that by supporting the College, my fellow alumni, and today’s students.”
