THE JOURNAL
will bring colour into every space in the house. Right from its inception in 2022, WOW!house has had an international outlook, and this year is no exception, with US-based interior designer Alessandra Branca designing the Bedroom on behalf of her own brand, Casa Branca; and a trio of revered Italian names – Fortuny, Bonacina and Barovier&Toso – teaming up with Tomèf Design for the Primary Bedroom. For the full experience, an exciting calendar of events
takes place across the month. At a series of talks, hear first-hand from the designers about their highly creative approach to their schemes; while twice-daily tours of WOW!house – included in the ticket price – allow guests to soak in all the extra detail and storytelling that are packed into every room. WOW!house is committed to the idea that design is
a force for good, and 2024’s charity partnership with United in Design will continue for WOW!house 2025, including a spectacular opening-night benefit gala on 2 June. As the Design Centre’s CEO Claire German says, the show is “a testament to a moment where creativity and philanthropy are celebrated and encouraged. WOW!house brings our worldwide design community together, sparking conversations, building relationships and sharing knowledge, and we cannot wait to reveal more incredible spaces for 2025.” More than just a fabulous day, out, WOW!house
reflects the zeitgeist and influences design directions for years to come. Visitors emerge brimming with ideas – and can then visit the Design Centre’s 130+ showrooms under the same roof to start planning their own showstopping schemes. If you have a passion for interiors, you simply won’t want to be anywhere else.
