Stories from the Building Permanent V&A Dundee
The story of the architecture and construction of V&A Dundee is now told in a new, free display. It explores Kengo Kuma’s design from the photograph of the Scottish cliffs which inspired his first sketch, the models created for the international architectural competition in 2010, the beginning of construction from 2015, and to the completion in 2018 of Scotland’s design museum.

Workspace Design Show 27 – 28 February Business design Centre, London
The third UK edition of the Workspace Design Show returns with this year’s theme revolving around ‘Bloom: Exploring the thriving ecosystem of work life’. Set to display the work of hundreds of exhibitors, design highlights will include Gensler’s design for the Design Talks Lounge, BDP curating the Insights Lounge, and TP Bennett’s creation for an experiential entrance design.

Iwan Baan Moments in Architecture Until 3 March
Vitra Design Museum, Basel
Iwan Baan is one of today’s leading photographers of architecture and the built environment. The Vitra Design Museum presents the first major retrospective of Baan’s oeuvre; the exhibition reflects the photographer’s wide scope by drawing up a panorama of global architecture in the early 21st century, of its urban and social contexts and of the people who use it.

5 Turner Prize 2023 Until 14 April Towner Eastbourne, East Sussex
With Tate Britain having crowned the winner of the 2023 Turner Prize in December, be sure to check out the four artists who were shortlisted for the prestigious accolade: Jesse Darling, Ghislaine Leung, Rory Pilgrim and Barbara Walker. An exhibition of their work is being held in East Sussex as a major moment in the gallery’s centenary celebrations.
