Programmable sensor operated taps from Robert Pearson allow stylish and reliable hygienic no-touch operation for the user with relevant water and energy savings for the building owner. The optional remote programmer allows the building manager to easily make changes to the water run on time, sensitivity range and more, as well as to set a purge facility to automatically flush water through a tap it if has not been used for a specific time to help reduce dead legs in the water system. The system also allows users to download the total number of operations and purges.

Wetroom specialist Marmox is returning to the Surface Design Show (6–8 February) with the uniquely flexible Slicedstone range taking centre stage on Stand 425. Introduced to the UK market in 2023, the natural stone veneers offer the adaptability to be applied across uniquely shaped walls, spa bath surrounds and other features where water resistance is as important as appearance. This follows the success of the natural stone mosaics, which offer bathroom installers speed advantages when compared with traditional tiling: saving costs on materials and labour. Slicedstone offers low moisture absorption and features a specially formulated decoupling layer meaning sheets can be applied to curved surfaces indoors and out.
