pecialty chemicals business TFL Group has appointed André Lanning to the role of group CEO. He joins TFL from Trinseo – a company focused particularly on the manufacture of plastics and latex binders – where he most recently served as chief commercial officer. With a career spanning executive leadership roles – including CEO, SVP and VP positions within various companies – TFL Group said that he brings a wealth of global experience, market expertise and strategic vision to the position. Under Lanning’s leadership, TFL will continue its focus on sustainable growth, market leadership, and innovation in an evolving industry landscape. His strategic priorities include driving commercial excellence, expanding market share, optimising operational synergies, and pursuing organic growth opportunities. Additionally, he will explore strategic M&A initiatives to further strengthen TFL’s competitive position.
The company said that it was “excited to welcome André to TFL Group and look forward to his leadership in guiding the company’s next phase of growth and success”. Lanning succeeds Russ Taylor, who is stepping down for personal reasons. TFL offers its products and solutions to tanneries, leather processing companies and coaters. Its business activities comprise the development, production and marketing of the likes of tanning agents, dyestuffs and finishing products.
