Daniel Bacic is to take over management of Siempelkamp Bangkok office as the German plant and machine maker seeks to intensify its presence in Asia.

Bangkok office, which opened in 2024, aims to strengthen longstanding and successful relationships with customers in the region. Mr Bacic will assume the position in January 2026 and will look to expand customer contacts in this important market. The Italian citizen has been


active in the woodworking industry since 1998. He has been working for the Siempelkamp Group since 2010 and has established himself in the Asian Market as Branch Manager of the Kuala Lumpur office for the last eight years. From Malaysia, he managed all the Siempelkamp installation and service departments for the Southeast Asia region. In 1989, Siempelkamp set up its Southeast Asian headquarters in Singapore, followed by a branch office in Kuala Lumpur in 2007. Since 2024, two employees have been working at the third location in Bangkok. The opening of the

presented awards across 28 categories, a special panel session Today’s Stories, Tomorrow’s Materials: Designing, Transforming, and Sustaining was held under the moderation of Dr Hüseyin Güler, Kastamonu Entegre’s Global R&D and Innovation Director.


The panel discussion brought together leading experts who discussed a wide range of topics from sustainable architecture and local building cultures to alternative and recycled materials as well as innovative solutions for disaster-affected regions. The event was organized


by the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM) and the Central Anatolian Furniture, Paper and Forest Products Exporters’ Association (OMKO) under the co-ordination of the Ministry of Trade.
