TELECRAWLERS Ӏ TEREX INTERVIEW

What stage is the TTC 70 currently at? Has prototype testing been completed? When will the TTC 70 be available commercially? The TTC 70 has successfully completed its prototype development, and it is currently operating on a jobsite in Italy for the final testing phase. Following its official launch in April 2026 under Raimondi, the crane was also showcased at SaMoTer 2026 by our official dealer of Italy, Tecno Gru, providing customers and industry professionals with the opportunity to see the machine firsthand. Market response has been

extremely positive. We have seen strong interest from customers across Europe since the launch, resulting in several pre-orders, with deliveries scheduled to commence in Q3 2026. Among these, we are particularly pleased to highlight the order placed by Tecno Gru, further demonstrating the confidence of our dealer network in the TTC 70 and its market potential. These early commercial

successes reflect the strong interest in the product and reinforces our confidence in the long-term potential of the tele-crawler line.

Is the TTC 70 a continuation of Terex’s previous telescopic crawler crane line, or is it an entirely new design approach? The TTC 70 builds upon the extensive experience and expertise that our team gained firsthand through Terex previous telescopic crawler crane range. The knowledge accumulated over many years, together with valuable customer feedback and operational insights, played an important role in shaping the development of the new machine. The TTC 70 represents

the evolution of a product line as it incorporates advanced technologies, while enhancing operator experience, and improved versatility. The result is a crane that combines proven know-how with a fresh design approach tailored to today's jobsite requirements.

What innovations or features of the TTC 70 are you most proud of?

26 CRANES TODAY

The first

TTC 70 has been ordered by

Italian company Tecno Gru – which is also a Terex rough terrain dealer

One of the aspects we are most proud of is the integration of advanced digital technologies that deliver tangible value to customers throughout the crane’s lifecycle. The T-Link telematics platform

provides access to real-time operational data, enabling improved fleet management, more effective maintenance planning, and faster technical support. Features such as geofencing,

location tracking, crane utilisation statistics, and remote diagnostics help customers optimise productivity while reducing operating costs. Equally important is the

Terex Operating System (TEOS), which enhances the overall user experience by improving information flow, accessibility, and machine diagnostics; enabling operators to work more efficiently while simplifying operations. These advanced systems are

already proven within our rough terrain crane portfolio and have now been successfully applied to the telecrawler segment. This cross-platform approach

creates valuable synergies across our product range, providing customers with a consistent operating experience, simplified

fleet management, and the benefits of proven technologies across different crane categories.

How are you preparing the dealer and service network to support the new range, particularly in terms of parts availability and technical support? Will Terex rely primarily on its existing dealer network or are you recruiting new distributors and service partners for the TTC range? To support the introduction of the new range, we are leveraging the strength of the Group’s existing dealer and service network while working toward the expansion of our footprint through selected new distributors. A key focus remains ensuring that our partners are fully equipped to support customers through comprehensive commercial, technical, service, and parts training. By combining a strong

distribution network with dedicated aftermarket support, parts availability, and technical expertise, we aim to provide customers with the high level of service and responsiveness they expect throughout the lifecycle of their equipment.
