E-VER ELECTRIC FORKLIFT Konecranes now offers a heavy-duty version of its flagship E-VER electric

onecranes will present trailblazing products at the Breakbulk Americas exhibition highlighting Konecranes’

forklift, capable of lifting 18-25 tons. In response to the industry’s demand for low-carbon solutions, this new range of lift trucks contributes to Konecranes’ goal of electrifying their entire lift truck fleet by the end of 2026. The trucks are powered by a robust lithium-ion (Li-ion) battery pack. The E-VER electric forklift, easily adaptable to the local power grid, facilitates fast charging in under an hour and top-ups from braking energy during busy work shifts, as well as slower charging when idle. A combination of high voltage and low

current minimizes energy loss, enabling the truck to utilize up to 90% of the available energy efficiently. The Konecranes E-VER is a Smart Connected Lift Truck that employs TRUCONNECT to gather real-time data on various parameters, including battery charge monitoring, estimated truck autonomy, energy consumption per lift, distance, or load, the energy reclaimed from braking, and diagnostics such as alarms and alerts. All this information is securely transmitted to the yourKONECRANES customer portal, enabling the monitoring and optimization of the truck’s operational efficiency, productivity, safety, and environmental impact. Visitors can experience the E-VER electric forklift 10-18 tons version at stand E10.

ALL-ELECTRIC MOBILE HARBOR CRANES The Konecranes Gottwald Generation 6 Mobile Harbor Cranes offer a unique solution for the Americas and beyond, utilizing proven battery technology innovatively. The Port of San Diego operates two all-electric cranes with a battery drive at their Tenth Avenue Marine Terminal (TAMT) in Southern California, USA, to support their ambitious clean air goals. These Generation 6 cranes with 200 tons lifting capacity each are equipped with an external power supply to use their full potential when connected to the harbor’s power grid. Instead of exhaust burning onboard diesel engines, the cranes are equipped with battery packs. This allows for more than one hour traveling on the
