Yoke Lifting UK has become operational in the UK and
Ireland markets. The firm said that to support the market it has brought in a large stock holding of products. It will supply through a network of authorised distributors. Meanwhile, Taiwan’s Yoke Industrial Corporation, which said it would provide support to Yoke Lifting UK, has achieved LEEA Accredited Training Status for its Safe Use and Application Training of lifting components. elcome to the latest issue of Hoist. There are a few stories from around the globe that didn’t make it into our news section I’d like to share here
Prahovo, Serbia, to meet the growing energy demands of its chemical industry. Deliveries and installation is scheduled from October 2024. The project involves the installation of two 17-ton cranes that will be positioned within the site’s waste bunker. The cranes are designed to perform multiple functions. Finally, this will be my final edition as Editor of Hoist.
In my time we’ve trebled our LinkedIn readership, launched a weekly LinkedIn newsletter, and reached out to include more industry expertise. There’s another exciting development, too, that I can’t reveal before I depart. We’ve also worked hard to be a trusted source of industrial crane and lifting information, which has sometimes meant that while we may not necessarily be first with the news in the digital arena, for example, we’ve strived to be the most accurate, thorough and best. Thanks to everyone I’ve spoken to in the industry, and to our readers – good luck for the future!
