Acting Sergeant takes on epic challenge over the August Bank holiday to raise funds and deliver medical kits to those serving on the frontline in Ukraine

On the 24 February 2022, Russia invaded Ukraine, dominating news channels for months. However, slowly but surely, the events happening in Ukraine soon became the norm as their impact deteriorated while other breaking news took precedence over the top headlines. But some still understand the harsh reality of what Ukraine faces daily and know that support is still very much needed on the front line. police officers who has dedicated time to help and is gearing up for an epic journey on his motorbike across Europe to deliver
“I have friends in Kyiv and Kharkiv, so this is very personal for me.”

John explained how he decided to
take on this heroic effort to get aid to the frontline of Ukraine.
“I have ties with people out in Kyiv
and Kharkiv, who are my friends, so this is very personal for me. Fortunately, they are safe and well.” he said. “I want to fundraise while continuing to raise awareness of the ongoing situation. It’s disheartening the public is getting used to the story, as it’s the same old news, but for me, I have
