Constable Craig Guildford QPM said: “These officers and staff displayed immense personal bravery, teamwork and dedication in trying to save the lives of four young people.
The way they went about their duties at the scene exemplifies everything a dedicated public servant stands for; they are thoroughly deserving of this award.” Recalling the operation, PS Paula McDowell said: “I think because the residents saw so many officers that day, everyone wanted to do something, everyone did their best that day to try and get a positive outcome.” PS Sharkey added: “I am just
