Every day police officers across the country exhibit incredible bravery, running towards danger and putting the safety of their communities before their own while on or off duty. Observing 30 years of the Police Bravery Awards, the Police Federation of England and Wales introduced the Heart of Policing Award to celebrate an exceptional example of care and empathy shown during a policing operation. PFEW is proud to honour all the winners of 30th Police Bravery Awards.


The Police Bravery Awards were held on 10 July 2025 to recognise and celebrate the bravest of the brave. Extraordinary acts of courage carried out by 70 police officers


(including a police dog) from 38 police forces across England and Wales were honoured at the event. These awards would not be possible without the support of Police Mutual, who have steadfastly sponsored the Police Bravery Awards for more than 10 years.
