toYotA cAmrY – tHe next LeveL HYBrid The new Toyota Camry takes the place of the old Avensis and you’ll find it takes hybrid performance to another level with its striking looks and powerful 2.5L hybrid


engine. All Toyota hybrids are self-charging offering you lower CO2 emissions and saving you money on taxes and fuel. Camry is no dif- ferent, but it is the most powerful of the Toyota models we offer and is equally comfortable for both passengers and drivers.


Stylish and Powerful There are two models to choose from, Design and Excel, both come with a modern, stylish profile, alloy wheels and LED headlights. Design models feature body-coloured door mirrors and handles, shark-fin antenna and 17” alloy wheels. Inside the engine, you’ll find a mighty but quiet 2.5-litre petrol-electric hybrid engine with a power level of 215bhp that real- ly comes into play on the motorways. Camry is economical with a combined fuel consumption of 50.4 – 53.2 (WLTP) and low CO2 emissions (just 98g/km).


Extremely Comfortable Camry offers a smooth comfortable drive for all types of journey. As a taxi driver, you’ll benefit from the high driving position, heated seat with power-adjustable lumbar support and a leather steering wheel with Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) switch. For the passen- gers in the rear of the car, they will find it comfortable for up to three adults with ample leg and headroom. There is dual-zone air conditioning, front and rear cupholders and remote boot door release in the cabin and on the key. Talking about the boot there is ample space for luggage with 502 L capacity when fully laden.


Technology and Safety Features The 7” TFT screen in between the dials provides all the driving infor- mation you need for example your speed and how many miles to


the gallon you are managing. While the Toyota multimedia 8” screen provides all your music and navigation needs.


As with all Toyotas, Camry comes complete with a full suite of active safety equipment called Toyota Safety Sense. The Design model comes complete with a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, drivers’ attention alert and road sign assistance. Choose the Excel trim and you’ll also benefit from rear cross-traffic alert and blind-spot monitoring on top of this.
