What is a rapid antigen test and how does it work? Antigen tests, often referred to as rapid or fast Covid-19 tests, are simple and affordable tests used to identify protein fragments on the surface of the coronavirus. Simply put, they can tell you, with 96.9% accuracy, if you have Covid or not. Samples are taken by swabbing inside your nose and the results appear within 15 minutes.
