RHYL CABBIE SHOT AT WITH AN AIR RIFLE WHILE DRIVING CUSTOMERS
A taxi driver was allegedly “shot at with an air rifle”. A & J Taxis, based in Rhyl, claimed that one of its employees were targeted while driving customers on Rhydwen Drive at 10pm on Friday, November 10. Both the driver and passengers were not injured, but the vehicle suffered “quite severe damage”. Luke Packer, owner of A & J Taxis, appealed for witnesses and also contacted North Wales Police. He said: “Luckily, both the driver and passengers were OK, but this has obviously led to a very stressful time for the driver, due to being unable to work, and is facing the cost of replacing the parts and repairing
the vehicle. The police have been provided with dashcam footage, but so far, there are no updates.”
MAN ARRESTED AFTER WOMEN FOLLOWED AND UBER DRIVER STABBED IN SOUTH LONDON
A man has been arrested after women were followed in southwest London and an Uber driver was stabbed in Clapham. The Met Police said the driver was stabbed twice in the chest in Balham in the early hours on Thursday 23 November. His condition was not life-threatening or life-changing and he was been released from hospital. CUMBERNAULD CABBIE ASSAULTED DURING ROBBERY
A taxi driver was assaulted by a man wearing a facemask during an attempted robbery in North Lanarkshire. Police were called to Cumbernauld’s Blackthorn Road, at around 12.30am on 29 October, after the driver was assaulted while being parked in at a bus stop. The man attacked the driver after demanding he hand over money. Detective sergeant Karen Murray said: “While the taxi driver was not seriously injured he was left extremely shaken by this incident. Our enquiries are ongoing and we are keen to trace this man.”

STOKE CABBIE ATTACKED BY SCISSOR-WIELDING MAN
A cabbie was robbed and injured by a ‘man with scissors’ in a terrifying street attack in Stoke-on-Trent on the morning of 1 November. The thug made off with a ‘quantity of cash’ after subjecting the driver to the ordeal on Smallthorne's Robert Heath Street. Officers - who were called out at 6.40am - say the cabbie suffered cuts to his shoulder along with his ear and above his eye.
