Bunting launches new eMagnets e-commerce website

AN extensive range of magnets and magnetic products feature on the new Bunting-eMagnets e-commerce website. The totally redesigned site makes it easier and quicker for customers to locate and purchase a wide selection of magnetic-related products from neodymium magnets to magnetic catches and work holding magnets.

Bunting is one of the world’s leading designers and manufacturers of magnets, magnetic assemblies, and magnetisers for a wide range of processing and manufacturing sectors. Bunting’s European manufacturing facilities are in Redditch, just outside Birmingham, and Berkhamsted, both in the United Kingdom.

Bunting’s eMagnets division was the UK’s first online magnet company, with the original website launched in 2004. The new website maintains the original identity whilst applying the latest e-commerce website design technology.

“The way people purchase online is continuously evolving,” explained Simon Ayling, Bunting’s European Managing Director. “We identified that our new e-commerce site needed to reflect the way people purchase online and the ever- increasing number of visitors viewing our product information using mobile and tablet devices.”

The new Bunting-eMagnets provides online access to purchase standard magnets and magnetic products in small and large quantities. Bespoke designs are referred to the specialist magnet product design team at Bunting’s Berkhamsted manufacturing facility.

“Our online sales continue to grow annually,” said Simon, “and form a key part of our overall turnover. By improving the functionality of the site, reflecting the changing viewing and purchasing practices of our customers, we anticipate further continued growth in sales.”

The new site features dedicated zones for all known permanent magnets including neodymium, samarium cobalt, ferrite and alnico. For cabinet makers, there is a section for the popular range of magnetic catches, as used in kitchens, bathrooms

and general cabinets, featuring a wide selection of brass, gun-metal, chrome, and plastic designs.

The wide range of featured magnetic products also includes pot magnets, work holding magnets, magnetic separators, and magnetic sweepers.

The new website also includes a new and secure ‘My Account’ section making it quicker and easier for customers to reorder and access their purchasing history.

“In today’s marketplace, the time it takes customers to find the right product and purchase is critical,” explained Simon. “We’ve worked hard to make the whole process as easy and quick as possible.”
